Wattletree Cottage is situated close to the Yarra State Forest and is surrounded by mountains and a beautiful variety of trees, birds and wildlife.
The Cottage has front and back verandahs. The back verandah is large with a table and chairs. A B.B.Q is located on the back verandah. Stainless wire on the verandahs have been used to allow unobstructed viewing whilst sitting inside or out.
The cottage is a frequent host to much bird life such as Rosellas, Kookaburras, Wattlebirds, Yellow Breasted Robins and Cockies. The Cottage has a number of bird feeders that allow these birds to visit daily. There are also a number of garden beds that have native flowers that attract the native birds and provide endless flowering and beauty.There are a number of areas that are grassed that allow for ball games or a stroll.
